A bad subway ride can take all morning to wear off. Today was fine, but yesterday was miserable. If a train is delayed even a few minutes, the platforms become so congested and people are just throwing themselves into the trains and it is crowded and miserable and blah. Even in the evening it was like that, when Ronnie and I hopped on the L train (after a ride on the 1 train which was actually Daddy Day Care)!
It's hard to even fathom how many people are in this city. When I leave work, if you head up to Penn Station, EVERYTIME the crosswalk is green, the flood of people walking straight in is overwhelming, it looks like the million man march.
Today all I want to do is go STRAIGHT HOME and watch my Netflix disc of Big Love's Season 4, which is supposed to be there today!!
